This is a simultaneous construction of a residential building and a senior residence. Sanitas Mayores will lease the part of the building designated for the residence. The intervention is on an existing building with a basement, ground floor, and four floors. It is a building with a special protection regime, mainly in terms of facade conservation and the vertical communication core. The existing building is located in the heart of the Eixample in Barcelona, specifically at 234 Mallorca Street.
The mentioned building will be expanded by creating an additional basement (under the existing first basement) and a vertical extension, resulting in two basement floors, a ground floor, and six floors. The residence will have a total built area of 4,126.91 m² for 101 residents.
The contracted scope includes the audit and value engineering of the project, the supervision and control of the achievement of cost, time, and quality objectives set during construction, as well as the comprehensive management of the project during its execution phase until its opening.
